Wine Label for Wine52
Wine52 approached me to design a label for a new wine release inspired by Italian volcanic territories. The brief allowed full creative freedom, drawing from volcanic soils, landscapes, and the energy they carry.
This label is inspired by the legends surrounding Mount Vesuvius and the deep cultural identity of the territory.
According to ancient folklore, a monk once climbed the volcano to ask for the fulfillment of dark wishes. Offended by such arrogance, Vesuvius unleashed a flaming horse that dragged him into the lava.
The place is still known today as the Atrio del Cavallo — the Horse’s Atrium.
